EOS Utility won't recognize 5DIII - Windows 7 64-bit

Windows 7 64-bit is listing my 5DIII as a portable device. I can read the cards and download without a problem.

However, EOS Utility won't recognize my 5DIII. I have the latest version and didn't have this problem with my previous 32-bit computer.

Canon so far hasn't been able to offer any suggestions.

Are there others having this problem?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled EOS Utility and plugged the 5DIII into several USB ports using different cords.

In the past Autoplay would come up when I plugged in the camera. It no longer does which I suspect is because the camera is listed as a portable device rather than a device with removable storage.

So far I can't figure out a solution. Any thoughts?

Are you using a hub. If so, try plugging the camera directly into the pc's USB port.

You need the version off the CD that came with the 5D3.
