The Everyday Sling might just be the perfect pack for not carrying too much gear, combining comfort with Peak Design's signature modern style.
By no means perfect but my first shots and I am pleased with the quality of the cheap 70-300 lens. No where near as good as 70-200 L but its good enough for me to practice to get better with AI servo etc
Wow! Just wow!
I like all of them but the first one is spectacular. Congratulation for the new achievement!
Can you give us your camera settings for these BIF. Pops
Excllent! Man, if thats what you can do with a cheap lens I can't imagine what the good lens picts would look like Well done! I hope to be that good some day.
Woow this is really good! (... cheap lens??) Where is this?
Hi thanks for your kind comments, but I took over 200 shots and only got about 50 keepers of which on 10 or so are what I would consider good sharp well composed shots.
In terms of settings, I used AI Servo and case study 2 with ISO set at 800 (I think) which gave me around 1000th shutter at f5.6 and f8! But it was a very bright sunny day.
These were just taken at a local birds of prey park where the public can go for just £4
It was my first attempt at BIF and will continue to practice.
The first shot was real lucky as the sun hit the shaded tree.
Anyone thinking about the 5Diii should give it consideration (despite the price) as it certainly helped me to use higher than normal ISO to get faster shutter and still retain detail.
I had a 70-300 and thought it was really very good, less contrast and colour than the 70-200L but easy boosted in PP. And better range of course
Calling it 'cheap' undermines it; I think 'great value' sounds better
Although all your pictures are good and technically excellent, the first one is in a league of its own. It is superbly dramatic and beautifully lit, definitely National Geographic quality.
Whatever it is you did to get that shot, you should repeat in other situations. Perhaps further refinements will lead to even more spectacular results.
Hi it really is a very basic park at a place called Bridlington on the east coast of England.
Reason I went there was its only 20 miles away, it's cheap admission and best of all there are few people.

When the Fujifilm X-T2 arrived, it was more than just a modest upgrade to the already impressive X-T1. While the new X-T3 hasn't changed the overall design of the camera, this model is way more than an upgrade; rather, it's a quantum leap.
The Movie Maker is a compact, motorized slider designed for phones, action cams and small mirrorless cameras. We think it's a fun little kit and a good value proposition for the cost, provided you can work around a few of its weak points.
