"Suprasensorial"

There was an intriguing exhibition in “Hirshhorn” museum, in Washington DC, created by Cruz Diaz and called “Suprasensorial”.

There were different rooms, each with different color and light that was described as “Circumstance and Ambiguity of Colors”! A kind of sensorial experimentations of different light, color and space!...

IMHO, it was quite uncomfortable to the eyes and I honestly felt very sorry for the poor museum guards who have to spend their whole days under that aggressive colors and lights! But my own “experiment” was to see how this place would look in photo!

Very different. Why did everyone have to wear overshoes?

Thanks for stopping by, Cadder!

Well, they probably wanted to keep the floor clean, without any spot or stain, as an integral part of the exhibition! First, I was not aware of that and was stopped by a guard who asked me to wear those overshoes. Actually, they were made of a very slippery material that was also quite dangerous!

Regards,

Not much my piece of cake either, but I still kind of like especially the first one, and also the fourth. Well shot in any case.

Congrats for your result with the ´Busy Street´ challenge BTW!

Thanks very much, dear Emile. Actually, the only PP that I had to do (besides resizing) was sharpening the figures. Under those lights and colors, people became a little too soft!

Thanks very much, Olivier! I was very surprised to see how "Real" the colors became and they didn't need almost no PP!...

Thank you very much, Jasper! I am usually open to many styles, forms and shapes in art! Of course, there are some I like; some I don't! Even when I like; there are some I wouldn't have at home!

Congrats for your result with the ´Busy Street´ challenge BTW!

Very kind of you; thanks. I am glad you noticed; I was very surprised by the choice of the voters. There was another that I prefered, but I am very flattered for the result anyway! ....

Kind Regards,

Fun!

I'll have to check it out! Not sure about the exhibit itself, but it looks like a great opportunity for pictures! Very cool.
