How to destroy a kodak dcs srl pro sensor! Not yet.

Hi all,

due to the defect of my kodak dsrl pro sensor schott bandpass filter, see my early post, I decided to unglue the bonded filter to change it.

I previously call Midwest repair and ask for a quote to substitute the imager (without sensor board) and they asked me 395,00 $ plus shipping from and to Italy ecc. total cost for me not less than 450,00$.

So my dsrl has already 68000 actuations and altough it is my only digital (I really love it) is a price just high to repair it, I mean not the price from Midwest that I consider low for this repair, but for me.
The story go on, I start to open the camera, eigth screws in the bottom

and two for each side

after I raised a bit the cover and the ribbon connector was pushed gently down

so I could raise the cover and start to remove all the connection

so unscrew the four little screws from the sensor board

to be continued

Thanks fro sharing. Was the filter material itself degrading? How did you determine that?
