My best portrait so far with the X pro 1

In a recent trip to Westcliffe, Colorado many of the locals spoke of “the code of the west”, and of times long past. I think this is my best portrait with the x pro 1 so far.

Very, very good! Composition is excellent, and processing is also outstanding. Which lens did you use for this shot? And what aperture did you shoot with?

Amazing portrait and I love the short depth of filed. But the image could look even better with some post production work; the blacks look i bit grey to me.

I kinda like that in this shot, grey tones add to the grizzled old man effect.

Quick play with grundge....

and toning too. Cool shot BTW. I thought it looked a bit flat as well, so a quick play.

Very nice portrait. I like the natural colors, the general sharpness and the nice details. Pity some of them were lost due the exaggerated use of DOF, blurring the nose and the front part of the moustache.

Cheers
