Not sure about this...

Isn't the OMD mount weathersealed?

Cheers

Re: GH2 and OMD..same mount!

I will get on taking a picture of my incredibly messy desk with both side by side to prove this...

Unfortunately, somebody (Adventsam) will probably resize one of them and show that, indeed, the GH2 had the larger, superior mount...probably a longer lens as well...

However, the E-M5 clearly lacks the super-special "Byzantinium" coating found only on the GH2.

or my m43 lenses, either.

Or possibly that there's a small crowd of people out there with nothing better to do on a Sunday.

Cheers, geoff

Well done, it is nice to see some illusions that our brain can do, only a different color on the body and the mount looks bigger, also the shapes inside are different

...well, he posted the Olympus image scaled so that it and the GH2 have the same overall width - so as shown the lens opening on the Oly IS bigger. No optical illusion there.

Oh, for heaven's sake...

Are you now going to tell me that they use the same SD card, too?

The same lens filters?

And the viewfinders produce the same view?

This is beginning to sound like the Panasonic and Olympus gear is designed to work with each other.

It's a conspiracy, I tell you...

OK, this is good. It's nice to see good humor on this forum. If I see more of it, I won't need to go to the FF forums to get giggles. Those guys are a sarcastic funny lot.
