Great combo. Here is a sample that does not involve test charts or cats... real world.

Nice pic!! Since this is a native m4/3 Olympus lens, I assume the autofocus is blisteringly fast?

Re: Full size sample?

Why are all the OMD samples postage stamps?

As Big A DPReview Allows..

Do you not know how to click on the image to expand it? This is full sized, straight out of camera.

AF is very fast..

And this was taken with Face Detect on. It missed a couple.. which is less than I would have missed if doing the focus recompose thing.

Re:No, DPR allows full size.

Go to your permissions and check that you allow original? Did you upload full size or 1600x1200?

Re:No, DPR allows full size.

I uploaded full-size, so far as I know. But, after reading a few of your posts.. I will leave as is. I have no desire to be part of your "mine is better than yours" trip.

I especially like the second one. Have any with the lens wide open?

If you're not moaning about too much DoF...

What's wrong with cats??? They make great test subjects, just as your lovely subject is. I'm looking forward to using my 45mm on the E-M5 when it arrives. In the mean time, it's nice to see good images (like yours!) from the user community starting to surface.

I like it, she likes it..

we all have are own preferences and opinions about composition. As the eye is naturally drawn to sharp areas of an image, I believe that the oof blur enhances, rather than detracts from the subject. But, that is a conversation for a different type of forum.
