The Everyday Sling might just be the perfect pack for not carrying too much gear, combining comfort with Peak Design's signature modern style.
Today I printed a landscape picture 30x50 inches from my D800
It was from a professional printer and it looks fantastic. Viewing distance from this picture would be 10 foot or more but I did the "nose test" and there is not a pixel to be seen.
I'm not sure what maximum size we are supposed to print from this sensor but 30x50 is not a problem.
It was a landscape orientation I took of the last picture on this blog post http://www.creativephotography.gg/lihou/
I've been after some new pics for my house and this is the first :0)
hi mike. what resolution did you print it at? and what paper? i'm just now trying to learn what would be the best way to print images around the size you mentioned. what were the requirements for the files at the print shop, etc.? thank you in advance.
The image was printed on Fuji DP2 paper at 254dpi. Have a word with your lab and ask them what would be the best spec for your files as they could be different.
Interesting. It's my guess that 90% of D800 users here are wealthy amatures. A 50 inch print you say, hmm looks like most if you will have to move house then in order to gain wall space....
The native resolution of the D800 is 7360 by 4912.
At 254 pixels per inch that would yield a size of 28.9 by 19.3 inches. So, some up-sampling must have been done to get to that print size.
It sounds like they did a nice job.

When the Fujifilm X-T2 arrived, it was more than just a modest upgrade to the already impressive X-T1. While the new X-T3 hasn't changed the overall design of the camera, this model is way more than an upgrade; rather, it's a quantum leap.
The Movie Maker is a compact, motorized slider designed for phones, action cams and small mirrorless cameras. We think it's a fun little kit and a good value proposition for the cost, provided you can work around a few of its weak points.
