You seem to be surprised. This is how they've been working for a few years now. I'm fairly positive we're going to hear soon about their replacements.

Hi, you could try the Virgin Megastore in France; I went into the one in La Defense today when I finished work and they had the WB150, not the 850, but the sister cam so they might have some information.
Good luck.

So true, 700 was available in limited numbers here in France, now the 690 is everywhere , go figure.

It's normal for there not to be many previews/reviews out for many cameras announced at CES. If you look up such things for other new travelzooms- the canon sx260, panny zs20, etc., you won't find much stuff either. They're new cameras

Here are a couple of reviews of the WB850 and WB150. Neither is praised very highly. In particular the WB150 -

There are plenty of better options available.
All photos are far too unsharp.
Continuous shooting as slow as single shot in other cameras.
WI-Fi never worked the way we wanted.
Not recommended.

I would'nt be too concerned as they are unlikely to make it to the stores. I am still waiting to see last years WB700/750.

They appear to share the same overexposure as the MV800 that I've noticed in nearly every shot. Everything is blown and washed out in these shots.

how do you get off saying neither is highly praised, when the wb850 "review" was just a preview, and an optimistic one at that?

"The WB850F could be just the update that Samsung’s travel zoom line needed."

"The WB850F’s 21x zoom range is the longest in the category, and if the performance is as good as advertised, it’ll rank with the best in class. Built-in WiFi could prove to be incredibly convenient, and would really separate it from the pack in the hearts and minds of casual shooters, in an age when we’re used to instantly sharing photos from our smartphones. The redesigned menu system, which pulls some inspiration from Samsung’s mirrorless NX series, is a welcome touch as well."

"We’re eager to get this model into our labs for testing. From what we can tell, it’s a contender for one of the year’s top pocket superzooms. Stay tuned for a full, hands-on review in the next few months."

"Also, the WB850F model we handled on the showroom floor was running pre-production firmware, so we don’t have any kind of accurate idea about the image quality."

you dumb, brah? oh wait, you're just a troll. (btw, if you're gonna try to act cool, it's brah, not bruh)

You might want to check that. Not like it matters, since both are slang and colloquial variants.

Re: WB850f , reviews ,disponibilty ?

I wonder if Samsung just distribute stuff wherever the next container ship is going. Samsung is unusual in that it makes large profits and I wonder if it is really worried about consistent global user access to all it's products. It makes the camera, ships it as convenient and sells it.

I am not being sarcastic here but I just do not think Samsung wastes time and resources on making everything it makes available to everyone on the planet. They make a batch of a particular camera and sell it where it suits them and to a public who do not trawl the reviews. They cannot work like this with NX of course and their lack of experience in consistency of supply is showing. They are struggling to get the lenses distributed to the same place they sold the camera.

Re: WB850f , reviews ,disponibilty ?

To be honest, I think their primary focus is on Asia.

Sharp tried this some years ago, especially with their very high end MD players. Among the best of the bunch, but never left Japan and nearby asian markets. Now look at them. Sharp, oddly, was an innovator behind the scenes, but because they never released their good stuff to the mass markets around the world, they became known as a low-end company, despite having developed the technology behind many things we still use to this day.

I guess it didn't work too well for them, did it?
