Tedolph World Photography Day...

Well, the Seattle chapter of the Tedolph U 4/3 World Photography Day (a/k/a The "Annual Seattle MFT Beer Shootout") was held March 4, 2010 at Seattle's Gas Works Park.

Althoug the event was limited to u 4/3 photographers, somehow word got out to the general photography community (we suspect Timmy was at work here) and over two hundred photograhers of all kinds showed up!

A one hour photo shoot out resulted in hundreds of photo's submitted to the Judges.

Of course, Tedolph took first place for these masterpieces:

and was awarded the Rolls Royce Silver Phantom.

Our own Elherr won second place, the Bugatti Veron.

Wiggers....er.....Wiggers won third palce in abstentia, and was thus not present to pick up his gull wing Mercedes sports car.

It will be donated to charity.

An unfortuante, unathorzed activity occured durring the event-the burning of Timmy in effigy!

Security was calles to put out the fire.

Sorry about that Timmy!

Afterwords, all two hundred guests were treated to an unlimited beer festivity at the nearby Central Baking Co. where the winning photo's were shown on wide screen televisions.

See you all at the next "Annual Seattle MFT Beer Shootout"!

TEdolph

Halleluiah,
Seattle's Gas Works Park did nor exploded and burst in flames.
Tedolph, you are doing miracles. ( or maybe you are the very survivor?)

1,3,4,6 Very nice. I think you found your calling on the industrial types shots...nicely composed. I like the ones of the kites crashing into the hill too. Wouldn't the beer be more fun before shooting?

Thanks for the compliments-but I think I have a dirty sensor.

Look at all the spots in the clouds!

Anyway, there was so much beer you wouldn't belive it!

where Timmy's effigy was burned up!

An unfortunate event.

There were rumors that a sufuric odor eminated from the effigy as it was consumed by flames!

These rumors have not been substatiated.

Help!

A spot or two I could handle, but the whole sensor?

Anybody ever seen this much gunk before?

How do I clean it, swabs?

Should I use a scrub brush?

Wow! With that much gunk you may need to get an angle grinder from Home Depot. I had to use that technique back in 2004.

OK... back to being serious.... Does visual inspection show anything?

. . . It's always great to be almost 3,000 miles away when you're getting burned in effigy. Next time, maybe someone will call the Seattle Fire Marshal and have you bozos apprehended.

I'm voting for wet cleaning with swabs. NEVER give your camera to these guys for cleaning but the video was very instructional... particularly dropping snacks and crumbs on sensor (at 8:30).

Honest Timmy, we tried to make them stop.

Really we did!

I mean it's not like we stood there saying, "Burn Timmy, Burn!" or anything like that.

Honest!

You do believe me, right?
