MV800. First night shots.

Took some street shots as soon as I got out the shop (night shopping).

It's a fun camera cos I could just look down on the lcd which is a lot more comfortable.

(only the last pic was processed).

p.s/ the dates are wrong

Re: MV800. First night shots.

I'd like the say the pics are usable, but they aren't. I've even see cell phone pics come out better at night (I use a Nokia N8, for instance).

The last one is ok, but the type of grain that comes out of it through the sharpening and noise reduction stages in PP is a poorly-patterned type.

I don't get this cam, as most day pics I've seen show various levels of overexposure and washing out of colors, while night shots are also not its strength. Certainly, Samsung isn't focused on cams that take pictures, more than they are on making toys that happen to take pics.

This is a big problem with Samsung only having one forum as compact users get savaged when they post perfectly acceptable pictures. When you say usable, usable for what. Presumably they function adequately for the OP in remembering situations and he obviously enjoys using the camera.

I think each make should have at least 2 sites, one for normal people and one for pixel peepers.

The night shots are better than I expected, this camera sure is fun to use. Hope you will post some daytime pictures, too.
