Please help me recover these 2 images!

Obvious problem here is lens blur/slow shutter speed. Completely my own fault but would love to try and save these.

Am using CS 5 ACR and smartsharpen tool to try and fix but not getting great results.

Have removed all adjustments and saved as JPEG so you guys can take a look.

If anyone can have a go or point me in the right direction would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks

I like the second one "as is". Pity having D7K you did not pay attention on the shutter speed (with kids as small I would be sitting firmly at 1/200 as min) to get everything sharp. Some USM should be all that photo needs, just "natural". Fill flash and different metering could have made a world of difference, but...

harsh lighting

Mostly I adjusted the shadows/highlights in PS. I did tweak the sharpness also

Repaired highlights with GIMP by painting selectively with the skin colour using saturation mode then colour mode and adjusting opacity to get a reasonable match. A grayscale version was used as a mask layer. A slight adjustment was made to the magenta-green balance in shadows - it's always hard to know exactly what the colour should be so of course this is best guess.

Hi there. beautiful ladies. Tough to improve or recover motion blur. If you particularly like the expression of the youngster in the second image then you could just Composite the two images as below. I added a little gold reflector from NIK just to bring out some of the detail. best,

Colin

I think posting the Raw files will get you more help.

Sampled part of the little girl's arm, created a seamless texture and fillied in just the blowouts (blended by eye and such) and then did a few other things. Still, the lady's face is out of focus and not going to address that.

Really nice pictures and it is obvious why you desire to save these.

One adjusted image included. The slight out of focus should not be an issue unless you want to print larger than 8x10
