Great series, Gary! I would never think to do street photography with the 645D, but you've accomplished the task with aplomb!

Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Re: 645D in Hong Kong

are you a chinese? I saw a guy with 645d yesterday in Mong Kok. It was the first time I saw a 645d that's not on shelf.

Re: 645D in Hong Kong

Thanks for reminding me, once again, that the 645D image quality is an order of magnitude better than any DX or FX dSLR on the market today.

Keeps me using my old cameras, saving up for the day...

Though that said, it's amazing you managed to get the candid shots you did all the while carrying such large and bulky gear.

Wow, street photography in medium format!
Beautiful series, and the MF factor is clearly visible!

How quiet is that shutter? (only the cat with the bell seems to have noticed you!)

I can't even begin to describe how cool that is.

Using a 645D for street photogarphy is just great! The rest of us should toss our APSC point and shoots out. These seriously have the look of medium format film and I can imagine them as gaint prints. Besides the technical of the camera many are great photographs too.

Re: 645D in Hong Kong

they are all : Wow! wonderful
i got stuck for a longer time on 24 and 10, for completely different reasons.
Colours, texture and bokeh are superb.
You also have good sense of composition (obviously).

Great work, Gary. I love how you exploited the stunning resolution and rich colors of the 645D in the streets. If I were fortunate enough to have one, that's where I'd be shooting as well.

Re: 645D in Hong Kong

Polarrabit,

Great pics. I am also living in Hong Kong. I wonder how can we round up 645D users in Hong Kong by facebook or something or at this forum.

I shoot Nikon. Got my 645D for six months. Still a challenge to me as I cannot focus more on 645D instead always thought of and took my N camera to go out. I am not a professional. This is just my hobby.

I need help at this camera.
