Cute. Cats can be entertaining even when they're doing absolutely nothing...

Awwww! I love when cats do that! I also love what my family and I call "Cat Loaf", where the cat lies down and sort of folds its paws inwardly so they look like a little loaf of catness! nice! Cindy

Re: I've seen enough.

I thought there was a ban on cat pictures in the forum?

Lipo's shot is so sweet! I love it! And I love the term 'cat loaf' How cute is that. Thanks for the great picture Lipo and for the smile Cynthia.

Best regards to both
Leo

Another "slice" of "cat loaf".

Thanks everybody for your warm comments. Here is a more "cat loaf" like pose. This is from the Kr's random cross-process JPG process.

This is from the DA 40 auto-focused in available daylight. Perfect! If I want to switch to the Tamron 70-300 Di and shoot in such light, I need to enable +10 in the custom menu AF micro adjust feature to avoid backfocus. If I want to shoot with the DA 40 in lower tungsten light, then I need to either focus manually, or go into that micro adjust custom menu setting and scroll all the way over to -10 to avoid front focus. Then, if I want to use the Tamron 70-300 in tungsten light with autofocus, I need to go into that micro adjust menu and scroll ALL the way back to 0. I'm lucky I don't use any other AF lenses! Seriously, it's not such a problem, except for having to remember what setting to use so that AF would be accurate. To end my rant... that micro-adjust feature could require less scrolling around. The difference between 0 and -3 for example is almost not noticeable at all.

But I can't fight my heart. I love the Kr, and as an amateur I don't really want anything more "professional".

Best regards, and happy holidays.

Nice cat photo. I enjoyed it. My 10 week old kitten really didn't care.

Hah! It's great how cats can just sleep anywhere like that. Thanks,
