iPad/iPod/iOS Portfolio APP!

Well, i just thought i would share this with everyone - it is a photographers dream come true!

i have come across this app for all you iOS users / photographers / media people. It is a portfolio application.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mediapad-pro/id394760312?mt=8

i have not purchased it yet myself, as i do not have an ios device, but i have seen people request such an app on here that i would share this wonderful looking application with everyone to enjoy.

take a peak and if anyone gets it, let me know how it handles! it might be worth me getting one of those iPad thingies

My wife told me about it last night LOL

Funny you posted this today.

My wife told me about it last night ... she is trying to convince me to get her a iPad.

I blew it off and did not even look at the web link.
Of course this did not go well ...

And I know deep down ... she "will" get one ... before Christmas ... because she already has her mind set on one.
Those that are married , know what I am talking about.

it only makes it hard to defend when you have a lot of gear.
Trust me, the logic of ... this gear pays for itself ... does not fly.
Logic has nothing to do with it.

... so, I guess ... I will be seeing this app ... sooner rather than latter ... and I am a PC guy.

Though I would love a Apple 27" Monitor. Now , that I could use for Christmas

The video doesn't look very impressive to me

Is there a video where you can see, quickly and easily, what it can produce? I'm still looking for just such an app but I've not been persuaded by anything I've seen yet. Thanks very much,
Patrick

Re: I'm using this one:

there is a video - but its not the greatest. my photographer friends rave about it. i havn't seen it myself, so i am not at liberty to say its good or bad. i trust my friends. the thing about this app that i noticed, it does it all, video, photo, media/web. its an allround application for the media profession.

i need some one to get it and review it on here - to let everyone else know. i trust most people on here with their opinions and thoughts.

Portfolio for Ipad

The video is on the developer's site: http://ipadportfolioapp.com/
Click on the Play button in the graphic.

I bought this app for my iPad recently and it works great. Nicely done & professional looking. Love that fact that they included support for Dropbox.

FolioBook - proper Professional Portfolio

For a proper and Professional portfolio my choice is the FolioBook http://www.foliobook.mobi/

It is simple - no silly bells and whistles that detract from your images - and does an excellent job in presenting your photos - without the delivery method getting in the way ...

If you are looking to show your portfolio to existing or potentially new Clients - as opposed to just showing off your photos to Aunt Martha or the guys at your day job - then you may want to consider the aforementioned...

At a minimum it is worth a look...
