High Contrast B&W Mode GRD III

I have been suffering with a cold all week and was not in the mood to process RAW so shot mainly in the High Contrast B&W Mode on the GRD III. I did a little dodging and burning in Photoshop CS3 on a couple of them but they are essentially what came out of the camera.

"Leaf on deck" and "Palm tree" are my favourites.
Is that your shadow in pic 1?

Hello Calvin, you've made good use of your sickness the first two appeal to me most.

When it comes to B&W I go more for that grainy look and only particular subjects, not much good at it myself.

regards and well wishes.......Paul

Calvin, 2 and 3 are my favorites, really got my attention, with 4 and 5 being interesting.

Thanks for posting.

Re: Joel

Thanks Joel. I am getting quite addicted to this scene mode. I know it is something of a lazy approach but I do find the results enjoyable.

I must get back to shooting RAW.
