usually dangling from my neck (attached an old G3 strap), been banged against hard surfaces many times and just keeps on ticking! In fact I spent 3 days in NYC

Ours got dropped on concrete and it STILL worked, the lens is very noisy when zooming inwards after the fall but even the IS works and the LCD survived despite the frame buckling , used it for months afterwards before passing on to a mate when I found an end of line one at jessops - that dropped 650 is STILL running now ....

I find quite the opposite. Any attempts at exposure correction cause a visible hue shift, and the color is not so hot to begin with. I'm willing to believe my camera may have QC issues, but it doesn't alter my answer to the original post: no, I would not want another G11.
