Nice series.

Interesting display of aggression as there appears to be plenty of food for everybody...

Good series, but the Mallard duckling is the highlight for me...

Re: California Junky Junk

All wonderful captures, but this one adds a wonderful emotionality...a sadness that makes it even that much more appealing (IMHO).

Thanks for sharing,

Red Bellied Froggy Rats

thank you once again for hosting this thread Abby

Still been slow around here, even with start of spring.
Only been one green heron sighting locally, so just the
interim junk stuff.

  1. 1 Red bellied, way off in distance(almost 100% crop), not super sharp,

but a nice pose..........400mm w/1.4X

  1. 2 Bullfroggy....400mm w/1.4X AND 25mm extension tube

  1. 3 Nutria rat family still sleeping.....probably ate

cypress trees all night

thanks for looking in and opportunity to share the red belly, froggy and rats

Re: The usual Snapourri!

You pictures are always very enjoyable. What's puzzled me is that why your 400 f/5.6 has the look of 500 f/4?

Thanks for commenting on all the posters.
