One is nicer than the next! So sharp! Did you use a tripod for them and did you sharpen PP ?
Margie

Louis, these are amazing! Perfect description of Spring. They are alive with beauty and energy!

Hope there'll be more.

Hi Margie and thanks for your kind comments! No, I did not use tripod and had much troubles because of the wind. When you go so close to a subject, the slightest move makes you out of focus! As always, I am very much helped by the almighty Photoshop! No digital image is done before PP!
All the best,

Thank you, dear. :))
I am waiting for your desert beauties! :))

Dear Catatac, I am not very much into "flowers" and macro photography, either. As you could already notice , there are other subjects that I am much more into! :)) These are just a few shots of a wet then sunny weekend while jogging!

About the last shot; I must say, you got me there! Not being a botanist, I am absolutely unable to answer your question!... But, if you send me the email of your model, I may be able to find it out for you! :))))
Cheers

Thank you Louis...You must have a really steady hand! My close ups tend to not be as sharp!

I just learned today how to move the focus point on the LCD...especially when I go to do close-ups, the camera seems to decide where I want to focus instead of me. Now I can be in control ! That really does help when trying to get a clear, sharp photo!
So much to learn!

Thank you very much, Howie!

Thanks, Mike! I remember that day, first I shot with ISO80, but it was a very dark and wet day; then I put in "Intelligent ISO" that I find very helpful!... So, it is hard to say which one with which, unless we look at the EXIF!
Most of the shots were quite dark; I had to tweak them in Photoshop!
All the best,
