Interesting and gives on something to play with. It seems like he also uses PS in post post processing. I would have liked to see some every day people images like images with mulitple persons in it (sports, etc.). But I will do a bit of using it in a variety of situations to see if it's possible to improve my workflow. I do like the close tool.

Mouse over the player

When I mouse over the video player, there is a "download this video" pops up at the upper right. I am not sure but I believe this is because I have the Real Player install.

Hi Todd

Nice post, however . . .

Superior in some regards - but considerably slower than ACR and much slower than Bibble. Pick your poison depending on YOUR needs. The good news is that it is much faster than Capture One. :^)

Would I buy the latest version? Sure, for 1/3 the price!!! I mean it is GOOD, but so is ACR and Bibble. (and ACR comes free with PC CS3 or 4)

The mere fact that I spend thousands of dollars for a pro Nikon - and then more for the software - just irritates me. So I don't.

Re: Hi Todd

Capture One is much faster than NX2! Have you used it lately? The colors also are very accurate right out of the box.

Re: hey todd

Well I have tried Lightroom one and found it REALLY SLOW! and I could not get much work done. I find X2 very rewarding and it is simple to use...Powerful too. I never did like using Photoshopfor image processing, I alwas got better results with Capture. The photos were sharper and it just looks better. So yes I would encourage you to buy it, I could then send you some settings for the photos to get the sharpened just right. I have actions saved to load in NX2 that I can pass on.

Re: hey todd

Todd, you found LR slower than NX??? I can't find any software slower than NX. LR2 is blazing fast on Vista 64-bit with 8 GB RAM. I just can't take the slower NX2 and I'm not finding the output any different so LR2 is my choice.
