Are you suggesting the reviewer isnt that tough on cameras?

Being honest, aside from some sample images (and raw too), there isnt a lot of substance to the review.

Yes. D.P.Review is a scientific site:
Canon 450D-Superb resolution
Sony A350-Good detail at lowest sensitivities
This is the first point of the conclusion.
By the way , D.P.Review measured better resolution for Sony.

What that shows is..

they are all pretty much of a muchness, not much between them and all rating reasonably high.

What's half a point here, half a point there, when it is all just opinion of one person or team anyway?

Why are people so obsessed with their camera rating higher than some other one? What difference does it make to you? Are you happy with your camera? Yes? well go out and use it then and stop worring about reviews...

Re: What that shows is..

...that to score higher than all these other DSLRs they were pretty impressed.

Not much in it maybe - but still the best score of any listed. Just trying to redress the balance a little after dpr's more critical viewpoint - which is after all is just the opinion of one reviewer with a flawed methodology

Paul
