Re: 3 new pro lenses leaked

If these are released in June, I am not interested.
Seriously thinking in taking advantage of the upcoming $300 5D rebate.

For the D3, you can get the 5D kit, 17-40 L glass, and the 70-200 IS USM L glass.
This would be a very nice package to start with.

Re: Source of

IF the 10-24 were real, I would be already in the line to buy it... I´m currently not in such line, ergo is a fake.... but boy, how I wish it were real !

Sigma already showed to the world that you can make a rectangular 10mm without outrageous images compromises, and since then 12mm isn't wide enough.

Why do people post these fake rumors?

Are they just sociopaths who tortured their pets when they were children?

Funny how that DX zoom looks just like a Tokina, but with Nikon controls Photoshopped on, er, I mean, fitted.

the evidence... here you go

Arhhhh!!! Ok, was fun trying to fool you guys, anyway... here are the components.

You where way faster at finding my flaws than I expected. I see I made a huge mistake turning the zoom letters the wrong way... DOH! All so I dont think the 24mm is any realistic really. the front element is too large for a 24mm as some one noticed, and in the real world I dont think Nikon would bring a new 14mm 2.8 there would be NO market for it now the 14-24 is out. The fifty is the most realistic one IMO despite what some one said about its size I think the size is right for a f1.2 lens. Have you ever handed the canon 50mm f1.2 its even larger than this one. 10-24 2.8 is simply my dream lens... or used to be before FX...

Have a nice weekend.

ROFL's, nice job on the chop.

Hurry, someone chop me an 85mm F1.2 with Nano coatings so I can start some rumors online.

Got a Challenge for you

How about whipping up a 3.5/14-24 PC-E for us.

Or if you don't mind going to a dark side. How about a 3.5/24 TS ZA (as in Zeiss for Sony), just so I can have something to dream about (I'm extremely Jealous of Nikon users getting the new 24mm PC lens).

Re: Excellent

yup! Do you seriously think Nikon is going to have a picture of 3 'upcoming' lenses like this??

i agree....great fakes!

All these images appear shopped from the latest released lenses.
But apart from that you have to ask the question. Are these lenses practical!
The 50mm is nice. This is the most believeable of the three!

What is the point in producing a 24mm with an end element like that...no filters = no purchases especially if its aiming for its niche market, the discerning landscape photographer. Highly dubious image looks like the ends been sliced off the new 14-24.

The dx 10-24 is a waste of time, you don't need an f2.8 in an extreme wide angle dx zoom. This thing would be even bigger than the recently release 14-24. Ouch!

Nice try, but youe images are not getting any better in believability, they appear to be from the same person who tipped the 100-500 lens from 12 months back!

I already explained them
http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1030&message=27955344

My thoughts on them my self are exactly like yours. exept that I think the 10-24 whould be smaller than the current 14-24 which would appeal to me.

You are quite wrong about how I made them, the 14 (24) I made before the 14-24 where real, so there is only old elements in that one, though I updated it a bit I think the mount is from the new 24-70 2.8 Originally I made it to be a 9mm DX which explains the LARGE front.
NO I did not make the 100-500.
