Are There Any Good Books On the Ax700?

Has anyone seen a good book or manual on the AX700? There are a lot of features and capabilities in this camera, but the Sony Manual is weak. A good manual with good indepth analysis description of the features and their capabilities would be nice - I would buy it.
Thanks,
Steve Jones

Gary Friedman has an amazing one

I got this myself, and still have to finish it! It's very indepth and well written. Highly recommended!

Third for the Friedman book!

The printed version is costly, but the e-book it perfect for me. Very well written, knowledgable and definitely detailed in all areas of the camera. You can't find one better I bet.

Same here, Gary Friedmann is the only book you need for Alpha's....

Another alternative is the training video for A700 from Elite Video, they have A100 and A200 as well. Link here, http://www.elitevideo.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=252 . Hope it helps.

Magic Lantern (a division of Lark Books) has an excellent video and book out on the A700. The video, in my opinion, is much better than that from Elite Video.

Re: Friedman book - great choice

Here's another vote for the Gary Friedman book. My computer decided to have a tantrum whilst I was downloading it but Gary replied to an email request for help within half an hour and sorted the problem for me. Top bloke.

His '25 Ways to 'Wow' book also contains some great advice and ideas.

"The Complete Guide to Sony's :Alpha 700 Digital SLR Camera and the Alpha Mount System" by Gary Friedman

Thumbs Up from me! Downloaded book today and got about 1/4 through before i took a break. Great instructional book that gives you all the ins and outs of the camera. About a 5 meg file downloaded in about a minute for $25.00 Highly recommend.

I downloaded the e-book and so far it's great. Maybe someone can answer this question because I looked on The website I got the book form and can't find an answer. Can you print the book out once you have purchased the download. I mean legally like at Kinkos.
