one touch bracketing

Is it possible to make multiple exposures or bracketing, with just one touch of the release button?

So I don't have to press the relaese button 5 times, in order to prevent camera shake? Yes I use a tripod.
Really I can't find it in d300's manual...

Happy shooting

Re: one touch bracketing

use custom function f4, 5 or 6 to assign bracket burst to a button.

then set the camera to either CL or CH release mode

Setup your bracketing program/sequence.

press and hold the button you assigned and shutter. the camera will fire the entire
sequence and stop.

Thanks, a bit further. So I did but it still seems I must press the relaese button as long as the the sequence/bracketing takes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I would use a cable release to avoid movement.

Menno,

Yes, it is possible. You can use intervalometer feature.

Interval timer.....
Set the bracket number of pics, say 5 at .3 stops

choose interval timer to take 5 pictures at whatever interval you choose, I choose 0. push OK and bam, 5 pictures

I was not aware of that, thanks. Good to know if you don't have the remote.

Re: one touch bracketing

thats right. Personally I don't mind it and actually prefer it since it minimizes any finger movement once the sequence starts.

But as others note, you can do it w/ intervalometer etc.

can this be done with MLU

I always use mirror lockup and usually take the shot 4 secs after the lockup,....

now it would be very interesting to be able to automate all this in a single click

For HDR I found I would like to take only two exposures but with more separations than just one stop. What do you think?
