Does Nikon Have a Color Accent Feature? *Link*

Hey everyone!

I am looking to buy a camera after January (depending on any Nikon announcements ) specifically a D80ish model.

I was looking at some pics online (facebook) and i saw ones that were shot with a P&S Canon camera and I really loved them. I dont want to post them here cause they are not my pics but they looked like these:

Do any DSLR's do this or is this a jazzy P&S feature? Is this easy to do in photoshop? I just found these pretty darn cool!

This is something you would want to do in post processing, where you have complete control on what is colored and what is not. Typically, you don't want to get a single color, but leave the main subject of the photo in color and desaturate everything else to black and white. That can make your subject stand out, but it is not something that the camera would be able to do automatically.

What you are talking about seems to be a poor man's substitute for selective coloring. You may want to do a Google search for "selective coloring" or check out this post in dpreview:

(just one of the many hits that came up when I searched Google).
