EC-20 Test drive

Picked up my TC-20 yesterday, and got out for a few quick test shots. I was particularly interested in th bokeh, as I was always disappointed in what the TC-14 did to the lovely bokeh of the 50-200.

I'm happy to report that I'm very pleased so far with sharpness and bokeh. A couple of samples, all with the 50-200:

Re: EC-20 Test drive

So does it work as a F5.6-7.0 with the converter?

What focal lengths were the above taken with?

Thanks, keep posting more of your experiences. That converter is like adding a whole new lens collection.

Re: EC-20 Test drive

Yes, definitely darkens the viewfinder. I'm don't have access to the files now, but I'm pretty sure all were at 200mm.

Re: How Dark?

Richard,

Would you say the view finder with the EC20 (and 5-200) was darker than the old 14-45mm?

Thanks for the interesting report. I'm really liking the EC20.

Re: How Dark?

Sorry, I never owned the 14-45, so I cannot comment on that.
