Memory Card Error - PLEASE HELP!
I was on a vacation trip recently and was taking pictures with my Canon s80. Everything was working fine and then all of a sudden I got a message on the screen that said "Memory Card Error". When I go into playback mode on the camera, it blinks for a while and says "No Image". When I put the card into my card reader it says "Cannot Access Drive because of I/O Device Card Error". I don't care about the memory card because I can always get a new one, but all of the pictures and movies from my vacation are on that card! Does anyone know what happened or what I can do to retrieve my pictures? I am using a 2gb Kingston Elite Pro if that helps. Thanks.
Best advice is to save that card and maybe you can retrieve them later on the pc. Have to get a special program to recover the images. Part of the card might be corrupt thus getting the error.
Just buy another card for now.
