The second because it is more interesting, to me. In fact I like it a lot.

It has to be No1 to my taste. I like the pattern and the shades (or grades, or whatever it is called).

At first, while scroling, I thought #3, but it really is #1 that I like most. For me it has a dreamlike, surreal quality.

  1. 4 works for me. It's more properly exposed and I really want to know what's up there.

They are all nice but number four would be my favourite.

Re: Chemical Sunset (4 img)

No 1 and 4 are the most interesting pictures. No 4 is slightly more spectacular but I feel that it should have been possible to figure out what is standing on top of the hill; is it a person? Had that been been determinable, no 4 would have been a clear winner.

Portrait orientation doesn't work so well for thesse scenes unless you are using a very wide lens and include fairly much of the nearest ground in front of you when composing the picture.

Thank you all!

Thanks a lot for the input. It's been very helpful! On number one I was very lucky with the fog and everything. The second could have benefitted from a little sunlight on the boat, and the third was a little dark. The fourth is showing some technical installation on top of one of one of the mountains surrounding the city. I will have to take out my K500 and take a closer look sometime soon

Cheers!

Oh and:

Nice to see the M200 do so well against two limiteds. Although the person behind the camera probably had a lot to do with the Limiteds not nicking it this time
