If so...

I'll bet it's at a lower resolution, perhaps 5mp? Just to help the D200?

Confirms it

So, looks like it pretty well confirms it. Also, this figure (4.5 fps) is the same as in Ken's predictions.

Keep in mind that this is the company with a Fuji camera on the cover of their D200 book.

Re: D80 4.5 FPS is Confirmed ?

I don't get it. Is the book about D80 or photography in general. I can't be about D80 since they have a release date and amount of pages , but no camera has been released yet. But if it's not about D80 what's the info about D80 doing there then..
..well who knows... counter just passed 3 day mark.. tik-tok-tik-tok...

4.5 FPS in 2.0x crop mode?

4.5fps may only be available in the 2.0x crop mode like the D2X and others offer...

Yes, I did. 3 fps is what I hear. Smallish buffer, too (6 NEF). But we'll all know on Wednesday, won't we?

Re: Thom?

Yes, we will know by Wednesday. Until then, I will not bet my farm on this publisher. It also plans to publish the book for Canon Rebel XT replacement.
http://www.sterlingpub.com/search/SearchBookDisplay.asp?BookKey=2681394

Available : 02/2007. This replacement for the ever-popular Rebel XT is destined—like its forerunner—to become one of the top-selling amateur category digital SLR cameras in the coming year. Written by the author of the Magic Lantern Guide: Digital Rebel XT, this information-packed volume covers every feature!
BTW you are the one I could trust and learn a lot from. Thanks.

Re: Thom?

I believe Thom more than I believe anyone else. Thom's N80 book is like a bible to me. I had a chance to read the magic lantern guide for the same but it was not such a good experience
