H1-Sea storm (1pic)

I went to the Black-Sea this weekend and suddenly a strong wind started to blow. Luckley I had the cam with me and here's one of my best shots:

Some PP added(noise, levels)+ the golden frame. (Helicon Filter, Corel Paint Shop proX)

I'm afraid that a lot of sand and salted water-drops damaged my H1; since now everything is ok with it, no malfunctions but I still have to clean it well. I don't want to lose this cam, i'm very found on it. If Sony will consider to design an anti-dust protective system for future H series cams then this cams will certainly attract more photographers .

VERY, VERY Nice. Sorry to hear about your H1. Hope it caused no damage.
How did you do the frame? I really like that.

10x for your comment. I used a frame from Corel paint Shop Pro X, last week i've downloaded the trial to try this software..it works great but you don't have the "liberty" given by Cs2. Anyway, you can try it, here-s the link to download a 30 days full operating trial version:

Great shot, Hope your camera lives through it.

I'm interested in some sort of protection from water, dust for the H5 or Canon S3 too.

Terrific shot...

...I love the composition and the way it fills the frame.

In terms of dust, do you not have the adapter and a filter in place to protect the lens assembly?

thanks all

Well, I'm overwhelmed by all this kind comments.

1. To T.L.Rutter-I've tried to sell some of my pics on http://www.scanstockphotos.com but it didn't worked. Maby you can point me to a better place and if that place is free to upload-it's for the best.

2. To Meshwork- H1 was a huge financial effort for me (I live in romania…you know…) and I couldn't find money for accessories yet. I'm hoping that better days will come to me. The adapter was off because I neaded all the existing light in that storm.

3. To AAK-it's all about the perspective and the old fashion golden frame ( but I belive that the frame it's a cheap kitsch)…almost any photo can be transformed into an artistic composition.
I'm glad that my H1 lived to tell his “ story” about the storm.

You win!

Congratulations! That's probably the most amazing image I've seen on these forums! It's incredible! And how did you make that frame?
