FZ20 with Nikon SB26 Flash

Hi guys,

I picked up a SB26 nikon flash very cheap! My FZ20 will be arriving either tomorrow or tuesday (cant wait!!!)

Would this flash work with the FZ20? Or will i have problems mounting it on the hotshoe??

Trigger voltage is around 6v - so that part of it is safe.

Any of you had experience with this flash and the FZ20? (or any other nikon SB series for that matter)

how were the results?

I just tried a flash I have for my old pentax slr, it is a pentax dedicated flash but it worked fine....
I measured the voltage before I tried it to be safe...

I would say that it will work fine... I'm trying to figure out the best way to use mine... in manual or preset ???

it works great in auto mode...

put it in auto mode, set the iso and f stop as the same as the camera...

flash away! great exposures, especially indoor bounce
