How pets look? 4 pics

Here's how pets look on my 70-300mm G lens. Your comments are welcome. These were taken at an Annual Dog Show event on Sunday. Got a lot more. If any of you are interested, I can post some more.

That mastiff shot is a winner

I'd black out the background in PS and burn in some more detail.
disclaimer: this is a 5 min job.

Anyhow great picture. This is where post processing can be just as rewarding as photography as you continue the artistry way past release of the shutter.

I like them all, very nice!

I can't afford the pricey glass and have been giving the 70-300 G a little thought lately.
Can you describe how bright your light source was and your camera settings?

Thanks,
Dale

Re: How pets look? 4 pics

Hi Dale,

I feel the 70-300G does well in daylight. Those photographs were shot around mid day around 11 ish.

About the settings I have used for these shots, please read this thread. I have the EXIF info for each of the shots.
