as for cropping i wouldnt in my opinion it ruins it
Mmmh, I don't like the idea that this young robin now has to live with clipped off tail feathers. I think getting close to this bird, adjusting your camera and taking the shot without scaring the bird away, is a great job alltogether. If it would have been a paid model posing for the shot, one could expect or demand more.
