SLR/c comparison with 1Ds, 10D or 300D
Are there any reliable comparisons between SLR/c and the Canon CMOS sensors? Side-by-side? I'm looking for low-light or dark areas, like dark suits and hair.
I have waited 'forever' to upgrade to FF and 10+ MP from my Canon D60, 10D and 300D. The 1Ds is way out of reach, the 1DMkII is not enough (6-> 8MP, too big, too heavy). I have hoped a lot for the SLR/c.
From what I have read in this forum, the resolution and color is excellent, superior to 1Ds.
But Kodak's samples at http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/products/cameras/proSLRc/sampleImages.jhtml?id=0.1.18.18.3.14.14&lc=en are simply horrible.
The darker parts of clothing and hair are terribly blotchy (both in DP and ACR). Definitely not acceptable.
Is this typical for SLR/c? I would be very grateful if you could direct me to RAW samples that are superior or at least equal to the Canon chips.
