There is no need to feed those "anti D70" trolls simply because D70 is better camera than Rebel (and, IMHO, better than 10D - I owned one), and as such doesn't need to be "defended". It's faster, has way superior metering system and renders cleaner, more neutral images. If you like CMOS "silky smooth" (which I think is BS) look to your images, write custom curve and reprocess NEF files in batches with it, very simple. Of course, ISO above 1600 would be nice to have, but frankly - how often do you need that? Lack of MLU in D70 is serious flaw but most likely could be upgraded with new firmware (also could be hacked the same way it was done for Rebel).
