help w/ hot shoe-pc adapter

i am looking to purchase a hotshoe-pc adaptor and searced this site already to see what people were using.

i contacted adorama to see about the Nikon AS-15 Adapter and not only is it out of stock, but they said it will not fit the rebel. some of you have this and it works, right?

b & h is also out of stock, so can anyone recommend another online store i can purchase it from?

or any other recommendations for a hotshoe-pc adaptor that is under $30? i need it asap.

you may want to look into the wein safe sync if there is the possibility that the studio flash might have a high trigger voltage. . . many do

I have been thinking about getting the Nikon AS-15 to add a pc sync socket to my 300d, but I keep hearing people talk about the Wein safe sync.

My question is, does the Wein Safe Sync provide the same features as the AS-15 as well as the voltage regulation?

I assume you are speaking of the adapter that goes in the camera's hot shoe and provides a PC connector to receive the PC plug on a flash sync cord.

B&H shows the following items in stock (their stock number is given):

GBPCHSA 9.95
GBHSPCA 9.95
HAHSPCA 12.95
KAHSPCA 14.50

Any of these should work fine on the EOS Digital Rebel.

Yup - if you are going to cord up to a device of unknown voltage then the Safe Sync is your insurance policy. If you know your strobe device is
