Sych Speeds faster than 1/500 of a second with D70

Photobug, I used the Nikon 24-120 VR lens set at 120. Yes, you can
probably get by with slower shutter speeds.

Ypsilon, No it is not the same water drop. I shot dozens of shots
trying to get the timing right.

How I did it:

First set everthing to manual. Get the exposure dialed in along
with the flash value. Set the focus to manual and adjust as needed.
I held the camera against the edge of the sink, but a tripod would
have been easier.

Finally, set the water to drip about once a second and start
shooting. Catching the drop and rebound is a bit tricky because it
happens so quickly. Just keep shooting and work on the timing until
you get it right.
