Hm... Information about new, maybe usefull software for free it is SPAM?
I hope not.

Sorry for, well, no any information.

It is PC software for remote control Canon cameras.

Tested with 300D (for now)

Any comments are welcomed.

I would have preferred to see some screenshots of what the program looks like. Also there is no information as to what this program does, how it does it, and or why it does it. Is it WiFi, serial, or USB controlled.

Give us some kind of info as to what we are d/l'ing.

btw: I know for a fact that it is not WiFi.

Appreciate the link, but there is already a remote capture software included with the camera. Is this better than the one supplied?

If anyone cared to take the time you could have looked at the gentleman's website and see that he is from a non english speaking country. His web site promotes what looks like his own efforts to compile a decent animation program. I honestly believe he was trying to give those that want a beta access so we may be able to assist him with bugs.

The download does not contain any harmful elements and when I get home I will see what it does. All I have now is that it controls several functions as ISO Tv,Av mode etc.

Anyway I don't think we should ponce so fast. Many did not even look at the release or would have linked to his site and decided as I did that he was in earnest.

Hi,

Indeed it is very similar. Especially in this very early version.
Some function will be better for sure.
For now - all function in one panel.
Settings for hidden (in 300D) flash compensation.
Next releases will have functions not available anywhere ...
It is not just a daydream.

But I also agree Jeff, youd think from the posts that if there HDD were ever to crash life would be over. Experiment, it might just be worth your while.
