List of My Post-Processing Postings v2

Here is an updated list of my sort-of tutorial postings for those who might be keeping track of them.

My goal with these is to try and show folks who are uncomfortable with post-processing and think it is too difficult that it's not really rocket science and that some fairly easy procedures can make some dramatic improvements in one's digital photos. Almost every image I’ve ever seen come out of a camera, digital or film, could be improved in some way with post-processing.

'Push-Processing' to Higher ISOs

Use screen stacking to recover seriously underexposed digital images that were shot as multiple shot brackets or bursts.

'Push-Processing' to Higher ISOs - Better! - Easier!!

Use Photoshop CS's Shadow/Highlight function to recover a single seriously underexposed digital image.

3rd way to 'Push-Process' to Higher ISOs

Use Sheri's Shadow/Highlight Photoshop Action to recover a single seriously underexposed digital image.

Extend dynamic range - quick & easy

Easily combine the best parts of the light and dark images of a bracket to extend dynamic range.

Crop for 'Art'
Cut the clutter to end up with a gem.

Keeping Your Perspective
Remove vertical convergence for a more professional looking image.

Get a grip on the basics (more post-processing made easy)
Use basic Levels (histogram) adjustments to correct basic image errors

Shooting to Minimize Noise

Control image noise by using as much exposure as possible but without clipping highlights

Image Cataloging - or Find Files Fast
Importance of naming files and folders properly and how to find them quickly
