Disappointment common...

Hi ArtDep -

Yes, I had the same feeling when I found out - and at the same time, some relief! It meant that all of the WBs I had gotten wrong, were not totally lost!

RAW is like undeveloped negative film, I've had it explained, and the filters, etc... that we know as WB would be the equivalent of the filters applied by printers to get the print as they like it. The great thing about RAW is that you can always REDEVELOP the film if the print is beyond salvage and literally start from scratch.
