Hi you all,

I just want to extend a special thank you to our own Meem (Trish). She made my and my wife's day today. She went over to our house site and sent us some great pics showing the construction of our house. the last time we looked it was a patch of dirt and now





My wife had a slight case of the blues today when I received Trish's e-mail and the pics. Since she saw the pics she has been bubbling over with excitement. Thanks a bunch Trish.

Thanks to Trish we finally have an idea of the progress that has been made. We are hoping to be moving sometime in June.

Harry, great house! I guess it is in Florida. Is it made of block? What will the exterior finish be, Dryvit perhaps? I'm curious about the rings, in the second photo. Do they stack over the metal lolly columns? I love the archetecture.

and I guess a bit of nail biting from time to time as well. Must feel strange having it take shape at that distance.

congratulations on your new home in sunny Florida. Your beautiful house looks like its moving along well. I'm sure living there will be alooooot warmer during the winter compared to the freezn cold in NY. Take care to you and your wife.

You are so right. Right now we are sitting it out in a rather cramped apt. Until Trish sent us the pics it didn't really seem real.

Dee,

It was so great that Trish did us that favor. My wife, Linda, was so excited and thrilled to see those pics. Its just another demonstration of what great forum we all have here.

I can't wait to enjoy those blue skies and warm weather. After this winter in NYC I can not wait to get down there.

We will try to make it nice for Andy but its kind of hard to keep the lad out of trouble.
