--Currently I want buy canon rebel D300 but not sure should I buy with kit lens or without. I have the 28-139 lens already. Difference between 18mm and 28mm Is itworth or not to buy kit lens?

It depends on what kind of photography you prefer. If you need wide angle, the 28-135 does not quite make the cut, since with the 1.6 crop factor its effective zoom starts at 45mm.

Yes indeedy, it's worth the $100. 18mm acts like a 29mm lens does on a 35mm film camera, whereas 28mm acts like a 45mm. Without that 18m--28mm range you're giving up wide angle completely, and there's nothing you can buy to replace it for less than several hundred dollars.
The kit lens is mandatory.

especially when you go to sell the 300D. I plan on keeping lenses and updating camera bodies as technology advances ...as of course it will.

--so is anybody have idea worth it to buy kit or just buy body and low focus lens or just stay with 28-135 mm IS? I use camera primary at home and on the street. May be any idea about wide lens for home not too expensive

Its very much worth the extra $100, CAnon does not and will not sale that lens without the body, its a great lens, so my advice is to get it, you will not regret it.

Get the kit. It's a decent, lightweight, small wide-angle. If you decide you don't need it, you can sell it on eBay to someone who sorely wishes they'd bought the kit (they currently go for more than the $100 you're going to pay for it).

I have a distrust of miniature hard drives, they seem a little delicate to me. I personally would get as many large flash memory cards as you can afford.

There's no way you can get anything comparable to the 18-55 EF-S kit lens for that price, so get the lens with the kit. The 18-55 EF-S will give you a 29-88 zoom on the 300D. Essentially, it will replicate the wide angle you currently get from your current 28-something zoom. Unless you want to go without wide angle, or plan on spending more money on a different lens to get wide angle, get the 18-55 EF-S kit lens. It's a bargain.

I have a 1GB microdrive, no problems, but I'm deathly afraid I'll eventually drop it. I wouldn't consider anything but solid-state CompactFlash these days. 512MB might be sufficient, but two 1GB CF cards would be better. 170 RAW shots per 1GB.
