Troubleshooting after camera drop

Hello! While on vacation, my camera ( Canon EOS rebel T100) dropped about 2 feet onto a carpeted floor. At first, the lens (18-55mm) felt sticky, but after a few turns, felt fine. Auto and manual focus both work fine. The problem is that no matter what mode I’m in, or what lens I use (zoom, or 18-55mm from an older canon rebel), the shutter takes about 10 seconds to release. I’ve tried using a lens cleaner on the contact points. Any ideas I can try? Is it worth repairing, or do I need a new camera?

thanks!

Sounds like the lense is broken internally but the camera body is fine.

Consider replacing the lense.

Rin68nyr has indicted that the issue happens with another lens .

Just a thought that if the camera fires after exactly 10 secs maybe the self timer has been inadvertently been enabled ?
