The Panasonic Lumix S5II launched the second generation of Panasonic’s full-frame mirrorless camera system and was the first Panasonic to feature phase detect autofocus. As our review reveals, it’s a heck of an all-around camera for both still and video shooters.
All is said and done...
Writing a review this late is probably pointless since everyone who is looking for this lens already knows how good it must be.
And it is. It really is.
So I will not spend any time doing that. This is just to take my hat off to Canon for producing such an amazing lens with no flaws that I have noticed. I used to have the old EF 1.2 lenses and they did wow me wide open but I always felt CA was disturbing and AF was hit/miss on DSLRs.
This is just....i'm speachless. Well done Canon. Well done indeed. Not just the lens itself but also my instant need for more L glass in the RF lineup. I didn't know such optical magic existed (and I have used a LOT of L glass in the past).
