Hi there

I working at a recital in a church I want to use my trusty 5D mk3 to provide a "video feed" back to the church's ProPresenter" software. https://renewedvision.com/propresenter/ (It's seems to be an accepted standard for many churches who are creating audiovisuals / live streaming etc.)

Any thoughts on how to set up the 5D to work as a "video camera" in this way please?

We want to video the musicians in say 4 minute segments AND simultaneously project them onto one of the church's wall mounted presentation screens via a projector.

I'm a little concerned that 5D might do some random "time outs" on me tbh, so if there is a way to avoid this too, I'm all ears!!

Many thanks in advance

Here is a Canon link, AFAIK, a cell phone or dedicated webcam is the easiest as it has the app - so in one device you have the camera, software and wireless link. If you saw a moose in the street - one can pull out the phone and live stream.

To do it via 5dIII + HDMI - I believe you must have a PC - I would also make sure the screen saver doesn't give any surprises.

It wouldn't hurt to call B&H toll free customer service and do a consult, they must get this call many times a week in NYC - scroll to the bottom right of the home page.

be sure to do sound tests, maybe you need a muffle for the mic if there is bounce back.

My home HDMI audio via PC is flat like 2 week old soda , tried to adjust it but it seems impossible so I run the video via hdmi and audio analog to an amp - HDMI sounds " muddy" ; analog normal.
