Why so few X100VI photos?
2

As we all know, the X100VI pre-order amounts are high and Fuji supposedly stepped up their production compared to the last model. I'm just surprised why I'm not seeing almost any actual photos other than the review channels who got their pre-production or early models. There are some photos, but not nearly as much as I'd expect seeing how many people say they have ordered it. Surely there should be hundreds or thousands of people who got their cameras already? I thought the camera was released in most countries already (strangely not yet in Japan though)? Surely just because Fuji can't get the camera to everyone who wants it doesn't mean that the first pre-orders haven't reached the customers? For instance, Flickr only has about three hundred shots in their X100VI group and searching by photos it's only about 600.

Now, it doesn't really bother me, I'm quickly losing my initial interest in the camera anyway even though I would like to try one and it seems to be a really good camera. This is a good thing though, makes me really consider the purchase instead of succumbing to the excitement of a new product. I'm still interested in seeing what it can do. But there's a surprising lack of images posted by people who I assume did get their cameras, what's the deal? It almost makes you suspect that the shortage is by design.
