Did you ever consider buying into the m43, but chose not to for some reason?

At one time m43 was the most popular mirrorless camera system, but now appears it no longer is, for whatever reasons. The answer to my question may shed some light on those reasons for the declining interest in m43. The smaller size and weights of the m43 cameras and lenses was the most appealing aspect of m43 to me compared to my relatively large and heavy Nikon DSLR with the big lenses. So when I switched to mirrorless from DSLRs I gave serious consideration to buying into the m43 system, but ultimately I bought into an APS-C mirrorless system for the following reasons.

1. I shoot a lot of landscapes so I prefer the 3:2 ratio to that of 4:3.
2. At the time I switched to mirrorless there were few, if any, m43 cameras that had PDAF focusing, but instead relied on the less capable CDAF focus system.
3. Better image quality, especially at high ISOs. At that time the sensor development for m43 had stagnated and fallen behind that of APS-C sensors, thanks primarily to Sony who was rapidly improving upon APS-C sensors for their cameras. 
4. The M43 cameras were getting larger while the APS-C cameras were getting smaller and lighter so the body size was becoming less of a consideration.
5. The highest quality m43 lenses were priced similarly to comparable APS-C lenses.
6. I had concerns about the future of the Olympus camera company and the m43 format in general.

So did you not buy into m43 for any of these reasons, or were there some other concerns that made you decide m43 was not for you?
