Making two Nikon D600 camera's fire simultaneous

Hello 3d people,

I have a couple of questions about firing two Nikon D600 camera's at exact the same time for stereo photography with moving objects.

I have an ML-L3 infrared remote that can do the job but I guess that there will be an unaccaptable time difference between the shots. I don't have a second D600 yet, so I can't test it.

Nikon has a MC-23 cable to connect two Nikon camera's with a 10 pin connector (MC30).

Is there such an equivalent for the Nikon D600 with a DC2 connector? Then I can press one button and fire two cameras simultaniously.

Another question:

you can use remote triggers (Pixel oppilas rw221, JJC JF-U2, Yongnuo rf-603 etc).

The flashshoe unit has a cable form jack to mc-dc2 for the D600.

Can it also be from jack to usb mini?

From this type there are angled versions so my stereobase will not be very big.

I think that there are not angled versions of the dc2 variant.

Both with the usb mini and dc2 port you can trigger a shutter on the D600, what's the difference beteen those two?

Thanks a lot, coen
