Z7 settings NEF + JPEG for quick web uploads
Doing a family safari trip in a couple months and need some suggestions for handling dual/divergent needs. I've always shot RAW and RAW only in mode neutral with only minimal in camera sharpening. On trips I back up my images but I have no desire to spend time processing them until I'm back home. But theses days I and other family members want same day access to images I've taken to share by text or to post on Instagram. So, I'm thinking NEF + JPEG should be my approach. Each day I will download images to my laptop and airdrop the best handful of them to our phones. I would appreciate suggestions for the following:
1. Which JPEG should I choose? Fine*, Fine, Normal, Basic? And which size? Large, medium or small? I have no idea what the ideal image size is for IG or for text-sending. Obviously I want to preserve quality as much as possible but also want files small enough to airdrop, send, post etc
2. Any suggestions for in camera settings? Picture mode, sharpening etc. for web IG posting etc. I have never concerned myself with these things before because I've done it all in post.
Thanks!
