I ordered these slightly heavier zooms:

12-45mm f/4 (I may backpack with this lens on shorter segments with less food weight.

Why would you get a 12-35mm AND a 12-45mm? They’re practically the same size and weight? Why not just a 12-40mm f2.8, ... and be done with it?

I got an OM-5 a year ago, and I had planned to use it with the 12-40 that I already had, but I noticed how much better balanced it was with the 20/1.4, so I got it the 12-45 as well.

Recently I started looking at used v1 copies of the 12-35/2.8 because f/2.8 is much better indoors than f/4 and the 12-35 is much smaller than the 12-40.  (I don't need the improved OIS of v2/v3 because I'll be using it with the OM-5.)  Only $400-ish on eBay.
